About Salisbury Carpet Company

In light of the downturn Jamie started looking for an everyday product that he could promote in a new or more effective way to the general public. 18 months later following extensive research and a chance encounter he decided to venture into carpet retailing. Having already experienced this business from the customer’s perspective he realised there was scope for much improvement. “My experience had been that you either bought carpet purely on price – i.e this is the cheapest carpet we have available in this colour or style, or if you selected any form of quality carpet it was “retail” and that’s the price!

Prior to Salisbury Carpet Company,  I had a very successful career as a shareholding director of 3 property development companies carrying out work as an interior and landscape designer for private clients.

Using my interior design knowledge and property experience I am able to help customers with colour schemes and explain how to set the “mood” of their environment.

Our select team of fitters work on a self employed basis,  as a local company we pride ourselves in only using local fitters who work to the same ethos as ourselves ensuring that the level of service and fitting is second to none.

Nigel & Steve – Carpet & vinyl flooring

These two have been together fitting carpets for many years, both local gents and approved carpet fitters with exceptional expertise and a wicked sense of humour to go with it.  They like their coffee white with no sugar.

Richard – Hard flooring and Commercial

Our expert commercial fitter, Richard completes all our Luxury Vinyl Tile work, safety floor and commercial work. Another fitter who has his coffee white with no sugar.

Matt – Hard flooring and Carpets
